For the holiday we baked lemon cupcakes with colorful frosting and mixed up some Mock Hurricane cocktails. We donned festive masks that we painted and adorned with jewels, feathers and sequins. Of course everyone got traditional beads as a party favor. We played Mardi Gras trivia, did a Fat Tuesday word mine and a giant Crossword puzzle.  All of which made for a fun celebration.
